796 Summit Avenue Built: 1901 Style: Colonial Revival The original owner of this house was Jason W. Cooper, the 2nd Vice President of Griggs, Cooper, and Company, a wholesale grocery company. Cooper apparently did not live in this house because he is listed as living a 749 Summit in the 1902 - 1904 city directories. This house and the adjecent house are nearly mirror images of each other's form, yet each has different decorative details and building materials, giving each a distinctive appearance. |
