James C. Burbank House

432 Summit Avenue Built: 1862-63 Style: Italian Villa Burbank, an early St. Paul businessman made a fortune in the transportation and freight fields. The house is the second oldest house standing on Summit Avenue, and is the best example of Italian Villa in the city. It was built at a cost of $22,000.

Comment: (205.188.195.22) This house is owned now by the same people that own the University club. If you ever get the chance to go inside it is unreal! Most of the interior of the house is original, and very well loved. The french room is the best!
