Style: Late Gotic and Medieval Revival
The first house on this lot was built in 1880 but was destoryed by fire in 1895. The present house was built for an estimated cost of $18,000. Schuneman was a partner in the retail firm of Schunman and Evans which evolved into a major department store. The house was divided into a dozen apartments around World War II, but has been restored and now a private residence.
