North Summit Avenue: Selby to Nina

John S. Robertson House

John S. Robertson House

265 Summit Avenue
Built: 1885
Style: Queen Anne
This house was built at a cost of $10,000 by John Robertson who worked for B. Presley and Co., wholesale dealers in foreign and domestic fruits and fireworks. (honest I'm not making it up!) When Robertson died in 1898 the house was owned and occupied by John and Oliver Dalrymple who are listed in the city directory as farmers.

Comment: (12.75.134.82) The home is very nice looking on the outside I would have liked to see another color than Red unless that is orinal

Comment: It is most unfortunate that the exterior brick is painted.

Comment: on the market for $1,149,000.00 (1/07)

Current rating: 1.08 : Good
