Thousands of workers gathered here for the funeral procession of Charles Luth, killed during the Pullman strike in 1894. St. Paul Public Works Commissioner Oscar Keller was indicted by a Ramsey County Grand jury for a "disloyal" speech here supporting workers during the 1917 streetcar strike.
